Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. It is used as a reconstitution solvent for lyophilised research compounds and other compounds in laboratory settings. Unlike sterile water for injection, bacteriostatic water inhibits microbial growth, allowing multi-use access from a single vial over a period of up to 28 days after first puncture. Each vial contains 10ml of pharmaceutical-grade bacteriostatic water, manufactured under strict quality controls. BAC water is the recommended solvent for reconstituting all lyophilised peptide powders sold by Peptidex, including BPC-157, TB-500, MOTS-C, and others.
